Purim

Today is Purim!
Purim is the celebration of Esther saving her Jewish people.
Her Hebrew name is Hadassah.
Hadassah means "hidden".
The book of Esther is the only book in the Bible that does not mention God.
God was "hidden".
So the people and or children will hide their faces with masks.
They will also give out gifts to each other.

you have never read it or just to freshen up your understanding.

Celebrating one's people's rescue from death, destruction, and from a "Hitler" at that time is Big deal!
Now remember, even though there are many nations who may try to kill off the Jewish people in our day,
God is still rescuing the Jewish people and Israel!
