You would climb up these long set of stairs. Finally you made it to the top. What? No doors? Looking across this vast lobby, something may catch your eye. Are those real? With no doubt, you know that they are! Alligators, geese, eels, fish, and even bees locked in their own cages! The seating host/hostess will then come to escort you to your table. Ummm, where is the table? Well your table is enclosed within a closed room. Open the door, and there is your little room with your table-not too fancy and not too junky but just right. The seating host will leave you and will close the door. Before the waiter/waitress would come in, he/she will knock on the door. Ok, you should now be hungry, or are you? Where are the menus? No need for the menus, since they are living. Just follow the waiter out into the lobby and pick your live food. No, you do not get to see the butcher killing your meal, for you will then return to the room. Huray! Your meal has just arrived! How awesomly cooked and well prepared they are! "Please, could you pass me the..." you may ask, but there's no need to reach over someone to receive nor to pass around the food, since a circular moving board is in the middle of the table that passes the food right in front of you. Now you choose to enjoy or not to enjoy your food.
This was how it was when i was in China with my father at this particular restaurant. I had a blast! We had a good time:)
